Gokay USTDAL was born in Kayseri (1989), where his father (Prof.Dr.Muzaffer Ustdal) worked as an academician in the Faculty of Medicine. He completed his 8 years of primary education at TED Kayseri College. He completed his high school education in Kayseri Küçükçalık Anatolian High School.

 

         In 2008, he successfully passed the university entrance exam and started his education in the Faculty of Dentistry. In 2013, he successfully completed his thesis (Factors threatening the health of dentists and work-related health problems) and graduated with a “Masters Degree” from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry (İzmir).

     

          In 2014, Gokay Ustdal made a great success on National Specialization Exam in Dentisty and started his specialization on Orthodontics. In 2016 during his residency training, he made observations in the fields of “Orthodontics ” and  “Orthognathic Surgery” at St.Georges Hospital of London University by “Erasmus Plus ”program.

       In 2018, he conducted researches in the research laboratory of the Faculty of Dentistry of Erciyes University with a microcomputer tomography device. In March 2019, he successfully finished his thesis (Comparison of Microleakage under Adhesive Precoated Ceramic Brackets and Conventional Ceramic Brackets: A Microcomputed Tomography Study) and completed his final exams in Mustafa Kemal University and qualified as “Specialist Dentist in Orthodontics”. In April 2019, he completed his military service in Turkish Naval Forces in Iskenderun.

 

     Orthodontist Dr.Gokay USTDAL is fluently speaking in English. He has published numerous articles and book chapters in international and national periodicals. He has participated in numerous international and national congresses, including the Congresses of the European Orthodontic Society and the Balkan Orthodontic Society. He is a member of European Orthodontic Society, Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD) and Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists (BAOS).

         Today, Dr.Ustdal works in his own orthodontic clinic in Adana, Turkey.
